Siafu Home’s Punda Milia Serving Set is both beautiful and functional. With a Swahili name that translates as zebra, this set of two spoons celebrates nature and the creativity of Kenya’s artisan communities. Each piece is hand-carved from locally sourced olivewood, carefully sanded for a smooth finish, and polished to reveal the wood’s natural beauty. The short handles are made of bone—a recycled by-product of the local meat industry—and engraved using a traditional wax technique, which makes gripping easy.

Siafu Home’s table and home goods add emphasis to any residence and demonstrate the incredible capabilities of women artisans. Founded in 2019, Siafu was named after the Swahili word for “ant” as a shoutout to all the women who lift ten times their weight in a community.
