Description

The Messermeister Avanta 3-Piece Starter Set brings together three precision-forged blades built for the tasks that define daily cooking: an 8″ chef knife for the heavy lifting, a 6″ utility knife for everything in between, and a 3.5″ paring knife for detail work. Originally developed for one of North America’s leading culinary schools, the Avanta collection was built to a professional standard from the start, with German X50 stainless steel blades, full tang construction, solid bolsters and triple-riveted walnut Pakkawood handles.

Founded in 1981 by Bernd and Debbie Dressler, Messermeister has spent more than four decades earning its place in professional and home kitchens alike. Now a women-owned, California-based company with deep German heritage, “messer” meaning knife and “meister” meaning master, the brand is led by Debra Dressler and her daughters Kirsten and Chelcea, continuing a second-generation mission to bring innovation, sustainability and craftsmanship to every blade.
